Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Locums Job in Iowa | Clinic and Call Coverage | Beginning December 27 - Ongoing | Assignment #117487

Coverage Details
-- Coverage dates: December 27 – Ongoing
-- Credentialing time frame: 30 days (Temporary privileging available)
-- There will be additional dates needed on a monthly basis

Shift Details
-- 10-14 day stretches with rotating call and available clinic shifts
-- Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
-- The provider on call will assist in the clinic during the day for urgent matters
-- Call response time: 15 minutes

Requirements
-- Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
-- Active Iowa license or IMLC
-- Active ABLS
-- Active ACLS
-- Active ATLS
-- Active BLS
-- Active PALS

Required Procedures / Skills
-- FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
-- Routine delivery
-- Vaginal delivery

Assignment Details
-- Scheduled clinical hours plus call
-- Outpatient and inpatient practice settings
-- 15-20 patients per shift
-- Support staff: 2 RNs, 1 MA, 3 PAs/NPs, and 2 office staff
-- PEDs Level: 2
-- Average number of deliveries per year: 238
-- For call, they do about 30-40 deliveries a month
-- Hospital does not have a NICU
-- EMR: MediTech in the hospital and Athena in the clinics
