This critical access facility provides obstetric and gynecologic services across clinic and operating room settings, supporting the women's health needs of the surrounding community. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to ensure continuous on-site care delivery. Support resources include 1.5 employed FP/OB physicians and 24/7 anesthesia call coverage provided by a partner group; no APPs or CNMs are present in the OB service.

The state features notable destinations such as the Field of Dreams Movie Site, the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, Maquoketa Caves State Park, and the Loess Hills, which support hiking, scenic drives, and birdwatching. Clinicians will provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage through day shift, call, and 24-hour call assignments across clinic and OR settings at an on-site critical access facility, structured on a one week on, one week off basis beginning as soon as possible. Clinical responsibilities include clinic and call coverage for adult patients, with a patient volume of 16-18 patients per day during clinic shifts and up to 2 patients per night during call. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, structured at a 1:3 call ratio, and clinicians must maintain continuous on-site availability throughout each designated coverage period. Prescriptive authority is required for this position.
