Job Description

OB/GYN - SE Kansas

· Employed position

· Salary $302,000 first 3 years, then RVU plus bonus

o On RVU, Base and anything over the base for the qtr is your bonus

· Singing Bonus $20,000

· Student Loan repayment up to $100,000

· Relocation allowance paid – up to $10,000

· Malpractice paid, employee benefits package not limited to Retirement, PTO including 20 days plus 6 holidays, CME (2,000) and Dues and Memberships (2,000).

· Call 1-2

· Must work with other OB/GYN

· Office has a mid-level provider in it

· Level 1 nursery

· Babies below 34 weeks most likely will be transferred unless they are doing well and require very little interventions from Respiratory Therapy.

· Put in UAC and IV lines, but once baby is on vent, will be transferred due to level 1 nursery

· No VBACs due to no 24 hour in-house anesthesia coverage

· 3 Anesthesia and 2 CRNA’s do epidurals

· Usually about 250 births per year – we are building

· We have Philips OB TraceVu for our labor/antepartum documentation. Available at home and in office and Phone, can see strip, documenting of nurse, etc. meets all guidelines for ACOG for documenting

· EMR - we use CPSI for our Postpartum, Nursery, and any other patients on the floor.

· Ultrasound is available in the office

· 4D Ultrasound available at hospital

· 2 Labor and Delivery rooms

· 10 bassinets and 2 isolettes and 1 radiant warmer

· Avg 1 – 5 babies per day

· Seasoned staff

· New MOB with EMR - Greenway, located on hospital campus

· 2 Pediatricians and 5 FP’s for babies

· New surgery department

· Laparoscopic procedures done here

· da Vinci robotics here

The opportunity is located in a progressive community of 12,000 in Southeast Kansas. Our service area is over 90,000. We are only 2 hours south of Kansas City and only 2 hours east of Wichita, KS. Tulsa, OK is 1 1/2 hours south and Joplin, MO is 1 hour and Springfield, MO is 1 1/2 hours east.
