This full-service regional hospital provides comprehensive inpatient, emergency, surgical, and specialty care to patients throughout the surrounding community. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to support continuous obstetric and gynecologic care delivery across all assigned coverage periods. Onsite resources, including lab and ultrasound services, are in place to facilitate coordinated patient care for each assigned shift.

Paducah, Kentucky sits at the confluence of the Tennessee and Ohio Rivers and holds recognition as a UNESCO Creative City. The area features a downtown arts district, the National Quilt Museum, and a riverfront walk, alongside a range of recreational amenities including biking trails, pickleball courts, and parks. Clinicians on assignment will also find a performing arts center, dining options, local breweries and distilleries, farmers markets, paint and pottery studios, and a calendar of community events spanning arts festivals, outdoor activities, and cultural programming throughout the year.

Clinicians will provide 24-hour inpatient OB/GYN call coverage on a schedule of 6 - 7 shifts per month, with potential for additional shifts. Clinical responsibilities encompass labor and delivery management, C-sections, complicated deliveries, VBACs, laceration repairs, and gynecologic emergencies. The role carries a low patient volume, averaging 1 - 6 patients per day, with midwife support and onsite lab and ultrasound services available throughout each designated coverage period. Prescriptive authority is required for this assignment.
