This inpatient hospital provides obstetric and gynecologic services in an inpatient-only setting, with no clinic component. Clinical responsibilities include managing inpatient obstetric and gynecologic cases, covering the emergency room, performing circumcisions (preferred), and performing D&C procedures for miscarriages; the facility does not perform terminations. The facility averages approximately 1,000 deliveries per year, with 2-3 deliveries per day, and operates a 24/7 midwife model ensuring a physician and midwife are in house at all times. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is negotiable; prescriptive authority is required, and clinicians must maintain a clean file for temporary privileges consideration.
