- 24-hour shifts -- 8 am to 8 am, 11 - 14 shifts per month
- 20 - 30 unassigned patients managed per month
- High-volume facility -- approximately 3000 deliveries per year
- Unassigned patient care coordinated alongside private OBs and midwives
- Vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections required -- C-section rate ~30%
- Surgical assist role for private OB providers
- OB triage and ED obstetrical consultation required
- Potential for ongoing coverage
