OB/GYN Laborist Locums Job in Ohio | 12 Hour Shifts | Beginning ASAP – Ongoing | Assignment #115468

Coverage Details
-- Start as soon as credentialed (estimated credentialing timeframe: 120 days)
-- In-House Day shifts: 7a-7p
-- 12-14 in-house day shifts needed per month
-- Night call (beeper call): 7p-7a
-- 7 Night Call shifts needed per month 

Requirements
-- Board Certified or Board Eligible
-- ACLS, BLS, PALS
-- Active Ohio license (or willing to obtain)

Procedures Required
-- Obstetrics: low- and high-risk pregnancy management
-- Labor & Delivery: vaginal delivery, forceps, C-sections, complicated deliveries, VBACs, repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations
-- Gynecology: minor laparoscopic procedures and open surgical gynecology
-- ER coverage for unassigned GYN cases

Practice Setting
-- Inpatient Labor & Delivery + OB/GYN
-- One full-time Laborist physician and 1 full-time midwife currently in practice
-- Reason for coverage: insufficient employed physicians and midwives
-- Level III nursery
-- Support staff: RNs, CNM
-- Onsite lab and ultrasound available
-- EMR: Epic
