OB/GYN Position - Southern Oregon
Job Description
Seeking OB Emergency Department Physician to join our OB-Hospitalist team
--Oversee and administer the continuum of hospital care from the time the patient is admitted until the time of discharge.
--Responsibilities include patient care and leadership related to hospital care, as well as carrying out medical policies established by hospital system.
--Midwives and residents as backup
--May manage many aspects of a patient’s hospital care to include process management, communications among other physicians involved in the patient’s care, discharge planning, and patient/family communications.
--Required: Current or recent experience in hospital medicine with experience and comfort in caring for patients in the area of specialty, BLS, Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
--Annual base salary of $383,000, with a minimum work requirement of 7 shifts/month
--Shifts are 24 hours
--Compensated for any additional shifts worked
--Sign-on bonus of $50,000
--Relocation assistance up to $15,000
--CME Allowance up to $5,000
