Locum OB Hospitalist Position - 40 minutes from Nashville, TN
Job Description
Facility is seeking Locum BC OB Hospitalist to provide inpatient coverage starting July 2026
- Assignment Length: Through December 2026
- 24-hour beeper call 7 am- 7 am
- Schedule: 3–7 shifts per month
- $3000/day for 24 hour call, $300/hr call back
- Serve as backup call support for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs).
- Manage and support high-risk obstetrical deliveries.
- Work closely with Certified Nurse Midwives, who take the first call and are surgical first assist trained.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including 24/7 anesthesiology, neonatology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists.
- Respond to callback needs while maintaining required proximity (15 minutes) to the hospital.
- Approximately 600 annual deliveries.
- EMR: Meditech
- Minimum of 2 years of OB Hospitalist experience
- High-risk delivery experience required
- Required: Active TN license, DEA
