- Call only coverage -- holiday shift included
- 2 - 4 patients seen per 24-hour call period
- Inpatient and call responsibilities
- Call response time: 15 - 20 minutes required
- Skills required: vaginal delivery and C-section
- Low risk pregnancy management required
- Preferred: high risk OB, ultrasounds, and amniocentesis
- Approximately 400 deliveries per year
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
