This on-site rural health facility provides inpatient obstetric and gynecologic services to an adult patient population. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to support continuous care delivery across all assigned coverage periods. Clinical operations are conducted in accordance with 24-hour call coverage requirements, with 24/7 on-call anesthesia and OB nursing support available throughout each designated assignment.

Sheridan, Wyoming sits at the base of the Bighorn Mountains and serves as a gateway to Bighorn National Forest, where clinicians on assignment may hike Tongue River Canyon, fly fish the Tongue and Bighorn Rivers, and pursue wildlife viewing year-round. The historic downtown features attractions such as King's Saddlery and Museum, the Mint Bar, and the Brinton Museum, which highlights Native American history and Western art. The Sheridan WYO Rodeo, held annually in July at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds, ranks among the top PRCA rodeos in the country and draws significant visitor interest each year.

Clinicians will provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour call assignments at an on-site rural health facility, with coverage needed October 15 - 18. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, structured at a 1:4 call ratio, and continuous availability is expected throughout each designated coverage period. Support staff includes 24/7 on-call anesthesia, OB nurses, and 4 full-time OBs on staff throughout the assignment.
