Medical Oncologist – Outpatient Oncology Clinic
Alaska


Position Overview


We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Medical Oncologist to join our established and collaborative Hematology/Oncology outpatient clinic in Alaska. Work alongside a highly experienced Hematologist/Oncologist, Nurse Practitioner, and a dedicated team of nurses, administrative staff, and a clinic manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated oncologist who values quality patient care, a manageable schedule, and a supportive team environment in a unique and beautiful location.




Practice Details



  • Setting: Outpatient Oncology Clinic

  • Team Composition: Partner Hematologist/Oncologist, Nurse Practitioner, Nurses, Receptionist, and Clinic Manager

  • Patient Volume:

    • ~50–60 patients per week

    • ~12–15 patients per day



  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Call: None or minimal (optional to define based on actual clinic policies)


Compensation & Benefits



  • $700,000 earning potential

  • Incentives: Additional compensation through wRVU-based incentives

  • Sign-On Bonus: $25,000

  • Relocation Assistance: $25,000

  • CME Allowance: $5,000 annually

  • Paid Time Off:

    • 25 days PTO

    • 7 paid holidays

    • 5 days CME leave




Qualifications


  • Medical Doctor (MD or DO)

  • Board Certified / Eligible in Medical Oncology

  • Eligible for licensure in the state of Alaska

  • Strong commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based oncology care

  • Comfortable managing a broad spectrum of oncology conditions in an outpatient setting
