- Scheduled clinical hours plus call coverage -- minimum 2 weeks/month
- 20 patients per shift
- Both inpatient and outpatient practice required
- Call ratio: 1/3 -- beeper call with 20-minute response time
- Support staff -- nurse navigators, social workers, RNs, genetic counselors
- 1 - 4 phone consults per shift
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
