General/Oncologic Surgery - Augusta, GA
Private Surgical Group of Four seeking General/Oncologic Surgeon.
Largest provider of General and Bariatric Surgery for the Hospital.
Competitive Salary being offered with comprehensive benefits package.
Partnership track available after two years.
Seeking a General Surgeon with strong experience/training in Oncologic Surgery or formal residency/fellowship training in Surgical Oncology.
Call Schedule: shared call within group.
Two office locations, one is two blocks from the hospital, the other one provides bariatric center.
Reason for Search: Succession Planning (two Surgeons are preparing to retire)
Anesthesia Coverage: 24/7/365. Currently have seven rooms equipped to handle general surgery. OR has a block schedule for surgeons to schedule cases if they want to flip two rooms.
There are 18 General Surgeons and 5 Surgical Oncologists in the Combined Service area (500,000).
