Shift Details
-- Tuesday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
-- Target 16 days per month
-- No weekends required

Requirements
-- Board Certified Oncology - highly preferred
-- Board Eligible accepted if newly out of residency
-- Active California state license
-- Fellowship in Hematology or Oncology
-- BLS
-- DEA
-- Medicare Eligible Provider

Assignment Details
-- Types of cases: General Oncology. Breast composes 30% of the oncology volume, followed by Prostate at 15%, with OB/GYN, lung, and colorectal each comprising approximately 10–13%
-- Setting: Outpatient clinic
-- Order and interpret diagnostic testing including blood work, biopsies, and imaging
-- Analyze biopsy results and collaborate with pathology
-- Order chemotherapy and immunotherapies using NCCN, UpToDate, and Micromedex
-- Reason for coverage: Volume increase until permanent physician is hired
-- Patients per day: 2 oncology consults, 1 hematology consult, 12–16 follow-ups
-- Ramp-up period expected for first 4–6 weeks as panel builds
-- Admissions per day: 0–1
-- No induction therapies, bi-specifics, or BMT/Car-T performed
-- Support staff includes scheduler, clinical supervisor, medical assistant, nurse navigation, social work, triage RN, and infusion RNs
-- EMR: OncoEMR (outpatient), Cerner (inpatient charting, lab results, DI results)
