This non-profit regional health care system in the heart of Illinois is seeking an additional Radiation Oncology physician to join their growing team of seven Radiation Oncologists at various locations. Located in a vibrant riverfront city full of art, entertainment, sports, history and more, this metro area of close to 400K offers a cost of loving well below the national average and regular train service to Chicago!Base salary up to $600K.  The Radiation Oncologist would have the opportunity to practice external beam radiation therapy. Performing HDR brachytherapy is a future opportunity, if desired..  EPIC EMR, ARIA radiation oncology record and verify, and Eclipse for treatment planning purposes..  Candidates with experience and new graduates are welcome to apply. Mentorship for new graduates will be provided..  Academic appointment opportunity.  This position offers two linear accelerators: Varian TrueBeam and Varian Edge with micro-MLCs. External beam treatment capabilities available: 3D, IMRT with Rapid Arc, SRS, SRT, SBRT, OSMS/AlignRT surface monitoring, and respiratory gating..  Other amenities include CT simulator, MRI, PET/CT, RN disease site specific navigators, dietician, and social work..  Staff includes 1 medical physicist, 1 medical dosimetrist, 5 radiation therapists, 2 RNs, and an onsite department supervisor..  Generous benefits package.  PSLF eligible.
