Shift Details
-- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
-- 5 clinic days per week (8am-5pm) + night call
-- 24-hour call on the weekend before or after the scheduled week
-- Patient contact hours: 6
Requirements
-- Active Iowa License or IMLC
-- Board Certified in Oncology with Hematology/Oncology experience
-- Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology
-- Provider must be willing to work at a primary and secondary location
-- Clean malpractice and background history
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Assessments and treatment plans
-- End of life care
-- Chemotherapy and pain management
Assignment Details
-- Coverage is 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient
-- One of the two locations is inpatient only coverage
-- Daily clinic volume: 10–30 patients
-- Daily census: 10–15 primary facility, 5–8 secondary facility
-- Patient population includes Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial patients
-- EMR: Epic
-- 1 RN or CMA per physician
-- 2 exam rooms per physician
-- Medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy available
