Job Description

Build a high-volume cataract & comprehensive practice w/ an independent, 100% physician-owned group (not private equity) serving Central Illinois

Details:
  • $450K guaranteed base or 30% of net production, whichever is greater
  • $30K sign on bonus + relocation
  • Team of 5 Ophthalmologists, 3 Retina Specialists, & 6 Optometrists
  • Real partnership track: eligible to buy shares in 1-2 years in a group w/ just 4 partners
  • Your own dedicated assistant, multiple scribes in every clinic, & 75+ techs handling workups, refractions, & testing
  • Join some of the highest-volume cataract surgeons in Illinois, averaging 15+ cases per 4-hour block
  • 7-8 half-day clinics & 2-3 half-day OR sessions weekly at 2 practice-owned ASCs w/ LenSx femto laser
  • Manageable 18-22 patients per clinic session; 71% of patients are 60+, driving steady cataract & glaucoma demand
  • Optometrists handle medical management so you can focus on surgery
  • Busy from day 1 w/ an established referral network across 10 clinics
  • Grow interests in glaucoma/MIGS, cornea, oculoplastics, or LASIK/PRK
  • Full diagnostics incl. OCT, Optos, Humphrey VF, Orbscan, & iLASIK w/ Wavescan
  • 36 half-day PTO units + 7 holidays, paid malpractice, 401(k) w/ profit sharing, $3K CME, & AAO/ASCRS dues
