24-hour call schedule
5 - 8 patients per day
Inpatient and outpatient ophthalmology setting
Evaluating hospital and ED consults
Procedures required -- repair ruptured globe, eyelid lacerations, corneal foreign body removal
No ICU or critical care duties -- will not respond to codes
Hospital privileges required
Potential for future dates
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
