New Ophthalmology Physician Locums Job in Texas | Great Location | Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Jackson and Coker is partnered with one of our outstanding clients in Texas in search of a highly skilled Ophthalmologist (Glaucoma specialist) to assist with their weekday coverage needs starting this September + ongoing.
Details/Requirements for Assignment #115577:
» Active Texas license
» Board Certified required
» Glaucoma fellowship is mandatory
» Ability to see clinic patients, perform clinic lasers/procedures, and surgical cases.
» Laser procedures: peripheral iridotomies, SLT’s, ALT’s
» Surgical procedures: Trabeculectomy, Tube Shunts, Blebs, etc.
» Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
» Starts Sept/Oct 2026
» Seeking candidates with a 1-2 week minimum available every month
» Average of 30 patients per day
» 14 Ophthalmologists / 6 Optometrists
» No call or weekends (unless severe weather which is rare)
» EMR: EPIC
