What You’ll Do
You'll provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain. Through evidence-based medicine, minimally invasive interventional procedures and regenerative medicine therapies, we can personalize treatment plans that are designed to restore function and improve quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and managing patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Developing individualized treatment plans focused on improving function and quality of life
- Evaluate and provide regenerative medicine therapies, including biologic and restorative treatment options, as clinically appropriate and within physician training and practice protocols.
- Performing image-guided interventional pain procedures, including:
- Epidural Steroid Injections
- Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
- Facet Joint Injections
- Medial Branch Blocks
- Sacroiliac Joint Injections
- Sacroiliac Joint Fusion
- Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials & Implants
- Peripheral Nerve Stimulator Placement
- Additional minimally invasive procedures within scope of practice
- Collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Utilize performance metrics and clinical analytics to support quality improvement, patient outcomes, and operational excellence while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
- Maintaining accurate documentation and delivering exceptional patient-centered care
Qualifications
Required
- MD or DO degree
- Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine
- Active Florida Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- DEA Registration
- Completed ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship
