What You’ll Do 

You'll provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain. Through evidence-based medicine, minimally invasive interventional procedures and regenerative medicine therapies, we can personalize treatment plans that are designed to restore function and improve quality of life. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Evaluating and managing patients with acute and chronic pain conditions 
  • Developing individualized treatment plans focused on improving function and quality of life 
  • Evaluate and provide regenerative medicine therapies, including biologic and restorative treatment options, as clinically appropriate and within physician training and practice protocols. 
  • Performing image-guided interventional pain procedures, including: 
  • Epidural Steroid Injections 
  • Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) 
  • Facet Joint Injections 
  • Medial Branch Blocks 
  • Sacroiliac Joint Injections 
  • Sacroiliac Joint Fusion 
  • Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials & Implants 
  • Peripheral Nerve Stimulator Placement 
  • Additional minimally invasive procedures within scope of practice 
  • Collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary clinical teams 
  • Utilize performance metrics and clinical analytics to support quality improvement, patient outcomes, and operational excellence while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement 
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and delivering exceptional patient-centered care 

Qualifications

Required

  • MD or DO degree 
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine 
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine 
  • Active Florida Medical License (or ability to obtain) 
  • DEA Registration 
  • Completed ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship
