- Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
- Surgical volumes -- approx. 4,000 per year
- Cytology -- approx. 1,000 per year
- Frozen sections and rapid on-site assessments -- fewer than 10/week
- Peripheral smears -- approx. 5 per week
- Blood bank reviews -- fewer than 1 per week
- Hospital setting -- privileges required
- General surgical pathology skills required
