Our client in Salem, Oregon is ideally searching for a candidate that can provide full time coverage, but willing to accept candidates with two weeks per month availability. They're a busy practice, so please review the details below for requirements and reach out to Jordyn to be considered.
Job Requirements for Assignment #116464
*Oregon licensed required
*Board Certified AP/CP Pathology with subspeciality training in Cytology required
*Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, no call
*Workload ranges from 100-150 slides per day
*The surgical pathology practice is heavily oncology-focused, supported by an affiliated cancer center.
*Breast pathology is most prevalent followed by Gastrointestinal and GYN. They also manage a significant number of complex resection specimens across multiple service lines.
--Urologic Pathology: Smaller numbers of prostatectomies, with a high volume of prostate core biopsies.
--Renal Pathology: A consistent flow of nephrectomy specimens.
--Thoracic Pathology: An active lung cancer service that generates a substantial case volume.
--ENT Pathology: Primarily thyroidectomies and partial glossectomies. More advanced head and neck cancer resections, including locally advanced or neoadjuvant-treated cases, are generally managed elsewhere.
