Locum Pathology Assignment - Central Pennsylvania
Job Description
Hospital is seeking a Locum BC/BE Anatomic/Clinical Pathologist
-- Coverage November 16–22 and December 7–13; department can be flexible on exact dates
-- $1800/day plus $270/hr call back
-- Pathology assistant handles grossing; pathologist performs frozen sections
-- 18,000 surgical cases per year; 4,000 cytology cases per year; adult patients
-- Case types include GI, fluids, lymphoma, GYN (anatomic), breast, lung, histology, and FNA (performed by radiology and endoscopy); no bone marrow currently
-- Immunohistochemistry done in-house
-- Support staff includes pathology assistant and pathology team
-- EMR: Cerner with Voicebrook Dictation System
-- Fellowship training required; 1–2 years of experience required
-- Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC required
