The facility operates under a physician supervision model with 100% hands-on MD involvement and maintains the clinical infrastructure necessary to support quality anesthesia care delivery on an ongoing basis. Locum tenens pediatric anesthesiologist coverage is sought beginning in January on an ongoing basis.

About the Clinician's Workday

The pediatric anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services on a day shift basis, following a 5x10-hour shift schedule, with overtime applicable after 50 or 40 hours depending on the shift structure. The surgical case mix includes OB, healthy pediatric patients, and adult cases spanning neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT, dental, urology, neonatal, laparoscopic, general pediatric abdominal, thoracic, and trauma procedures. Call from home is required for OB coverage, with all other call arrangements negotiable. Board certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology is required for this on-site locum tenens assignment.
