This hospital is seeking locum tenens Pediatric Cardiologist coverage for inpatient and outpatient services on an ongoing basis beginning in 2027. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support comprehensive pediatric cardiology care delivery across both settings. A staff of 12 physicians and inpatient APP support are in place to facilitate coordinated patient care throughout the assignment period.

The assignment area offers clinicians access to a range of outdoor, cultural, and recreational activities suited to varied interests. The region features opportunities for kayaking, airboat tours, and visits to natural springs, as well as cultural attractions and interactive museums. Additional options include wildlife experiences, entertainment districts, and day trips to nearby destinations within a few hours' drive.

Clinicians in this role will provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology coverage during day shift hours, with 8 hours per day dedicated to on-site rounding, consults, and procedures, and a patient volume of 10-15 patients per day. Call coverage is required and negotiable as part of this assignment, with 24-hour call responsibilities associated with the role. An inpatient APP is available to support clinical operations throughout each assigned coverage period. All clinical documentation is to be completed through the EPIC EMR system in accordance with established facility protocols. Board Certification in Pediatric Cardiology is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
