-- Clinic: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
-- Call coverage: 4:30 PM-8:00 AM
-- Weekend call: Friday 4:30 PM through Sunday 8:00 AM
-- Up to 15 shifts per month
Requirements
-- Board Certified in Pediatrics Hematology/Oncology
-- Fellowship
-- Missouri license or IMLC
-- BLS, ACLS, PALS
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Lumbar puncture
-- Bone marrow biopsy
Assignment Details
-- Duties include rounding and admissions
-- Temporary privileges available
-- EMR: Epic
-- Patients per shift: 5-10
-- Bed count: 30
-- Support staff: 7 RNs, 1 MA, 2 PA/NPs, 5 office staff
-- Call type: Beeper
-- Call response time: 30 minutes
-- Phone consults: 2
-- Call ratio: 50/50
-- Admissions during call: 1-3
-- Call coverage responsibilities include both inpatient and outpatient patients
-- Hospitalists are available to admit overnight except for new oncology diagnoses
