Position Highlights
--Full-time Pediatric Hospitalist opportunity
--Established team of Pediatric Hospitalists and Nurse Practitioners
--Inpatient practice setting
--Mix of 10-hour and 24-hour in-house shifts
--Opportunity to teach medical students
--Strong physician leadership and collaborative culture
Clinical Responsibilities
--Cover the General Pediatric Floor
--Care for patients in the Pediatric Nursery
--Some PICU coverage
--Occasional ER consultations
--Rare delivery room attendance
--Work alongside experienced support staff and pediatric specialists
Facility Highlights
--Level III NICU and PICU
--24 pediatric beds
--4 PICU beds
--30 pediatric nursery beds
Qualifications
--MD or DO
--Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
--Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
--DEA eligible
