- 12-hour shifts -- 7 am - 7 pm with evening call post shift
- 5 - 7 shifts per month required
- 8 - 15 patients per day -- ranges higher in winter
- Inpatient pediatric floor setting
- Both inpatient rounding and call responsibilities
- Intubation skills required
- Admissions required -- call back rate 5 - 10%
- Phone consults required
