Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, located in Bangor, Maine, seeks a Part-Time BC/BE pediatric intensivist to join our team of four physicians.
About The Role:
- The intensivist team, along with six pediatric hospitalists, provide comprehensive inpatient care and administer an established pediatric sedation program.
- The pediatric inpatient service works closely with a broad range of pediatric subspecialists including cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, neurology and surgery.
- Our program has forged strong relationships with regional hospitals and providers as part of its tertiary pediatric care mission.
- $145,000-$155,000 annual base salary
- The compensation range listed reflects the range (Login for Information) anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.

Qualifications:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care
- Two or more years’ experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interest in teaching and outreach across a broad geographic area
- Desire to become part of a multidisciplinary pediatric care team
Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is a 411-bed regional tertiary care center and an ACS-verified level II trauma center with academic affiliations and serving a population of 500,000 living in the northern 2/3 of the state’s geography.
