Locum Pediatric Neurology Assignment - Charleston, WV area
Job Description
Hospital is seeking Locum BC Pediatric Neurologist to provide coverage starting 10/6/2025
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Amount of coverage needed per month: one to two weeks per month
- Schedule: 8am-5pm
- Department description: Both outpatient clinic and hospital inpatient coverage (same site/location)
- Inpatient work will require coverage of the hospital; they average five or fewer consults per day.
- Outpatient work is in the clinic from 8-4, with 10-12 patients scheduled on average (high no show rate though, so often less).
- The majority of work will be outpatient; however everyday they are here they cover inpatient and outpatient. The inpatient service is not very busy.
- No Call
- Patients per day: 8-12 outpatient visits, 1-5 inpatient consults
- Patient population/age: 0-18
- Support staff: medical Assistant, registration, pre-certification specialist, EEG technician
- EMR: Cerner
- EEG reading preferred but not required
- Required: WV license or IMLC, DEA, BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS, minimum 1 yr experience
