Hospital seeks to recruit a BC/BE Pediatrician. Indiana ranks in the top 5 of all States in being the friendliest, in the nation, for Physicians due to tort reform! The candidate will join a highly regarded pediatrician who is eager to welcome a new partner and one PRN Family Nurse Practitioner Pediatric Hospitalist/PICU and Neonatologists/NICU are readily available for consultations Physician will share equal call responsibilities with existing pediatrician Seeking a physician willing to do both inpatient and outpatient (rounding and attending difficult situations to take over upon birth) Primarily outpatient(95%) with minimal inpatient responsibilities 20-25 patients per day in a collegial, community-trusted practice Recent graduates welcome with appropriate training Hospital duties include: Healthy newborn visits and well-child exams Sick/acute visits, chronic follow-ups, and post-discharge care from network NICU Childhood immunizations, vision, and hearing screenings Manage common, non-critical neonatal conditions (e.g., jaundice, hypoglycemia, TTN, rule-out sepsis) in Level 1 nursery Routine acute pediatric admissions (outside newborn period) Attend deliveries when requested by OB for anticipated concerns Comprehensive Compensation Package includes: Guaranteed Salary plus wRVU incentive Commencement Bonus Relocation Expenses Medical Education Debt Repayment Assistance Stipend During Residency/Fellowship CME and Vacation 401K and Health Benefits Warsaw, Indiana andamp; Surrounding Area: County population and#8211; nearly 80,000 (county and#8211; 189,000), with 50% female/50% male, median age 38 Excellent public, private, andamp; parochial schools Serving 11,050 students, higher diversity score than Indiana average Student: teacher ratio is 17:1.
