Pediatrics (Hospital) - Maryland
Pediatric Hospitalist
will work at newborn nursery and pediatric inpatient and ER consultation
12-14 12 hour shift or 6-7 24 hour shifts
Level 1-2 nursery with no neonatologist backup.
Required to attend C-section and high risk delivery and attend all pediatric and neonatal related codes throughout the hospital
Newborns who need increased level of care are transferred to Children's National Medical Center or University of Maryland Children Hospital.
Procedures might be encountered UA, UV, Peripheral IV, Lumbar Puncture
