Locum Pediatric Assignment - One hour from Columbia
Job Description
Seeking a Locum Pediatrician for Nursery Call Coverage only
--December 22 8 am – December 29 8am
--Call is not in house
--Emergent care and stabilization of ill newborns of any viable gestational age and routine care of healthy newborns is required.
--Facility delivers around 600 babies/year
--Level 1 nursery
--No NICU in house. All unstable babies are transferred to a higher level of care
--No APP support available the week of Christmas.
--Typical day will include rounding in the morning; discharging patients; entering in admission and progress notes – also, ensuring they are available for emergencies or questions as they arise.
--Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrics, SC license, CSR, and DEA
--Must come prior to first shift to complete ½ day of onboarding and orientation requirements.
