Physiatrist or Family Medicine
Job Description
Our busy musculoskeletal practice is looking to have a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician or Family Medicine Physician join our growing practice. Here at Health East we strive to provide the best care for our patients and are looking for a compassionate provider that will put the patient's car as their top priority.
The Physician will provide comprehensive, non-surgical evaluation and management of patients with musculoskeletal related conditions. Responsibilities will include getting detailed medical histories, performing comprehensive examines, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging when needed, developing and implementing personalized care plans based on the patient's needs. The provider will collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, and other providers within the practice.

Skills
- Proven experience as a physician
- Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
- Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
- In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Doctor of Medicine degree (MD or DO) and valid New York license
- Valid New Jersey license preferred as well
- New York Workers' Compensation Board Certification or eligibility
- Board Certification preferred
