Coverage Details
-- October 30 - Ongoing
-- Friday-Sunday coverage schedule
Shift Details
-- Days
-- Approximately 6 shifts per month
-- Monday-Friday: 8am - 5pm
-- Saturday-Sunday: 8am - 12pm
-- Weekend coverage required as part of the schedule
-- Possible Monday-Thursday coverage every 2 months when the Medical Director is off
Requirements
-- Board Certified PM&R
-- Active Texas license
-- BLS, ACLS
-- DEA
-- Rehab Unit Experience
-- Clean malpractice/background - Highly Preferred
Assignment Details
-- Inpatient Rehab Unit
-- EMR: Epic as of 10/30
-- 2-3 admissions per day
-- 6-12 patients per day depending on admissions
-- Types of cases: IRF referrals are mainly CVA patients, hip fracture patients, non-traumatic spinal cord compression patients, amputee patients, s/p CABG patients, some debility, and some critical illness myopathy
