An established healthcare organization in the Boston area is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join its team. Position Highlights: Full-time Monday–Friday schedule 8 a.m.–5 p.m. shifts No nighttime or weekend call Provide comprehensive orthopedic evaluations, histories and physical exams Manage your own patient panel in clinic Assist orthopedic surgeons with surgical procedures in the operating room Provide pre- and post-operative care, including inpatient rounding and discharge planning Order and interpret X-rays, MRI, CT scans and laboratory studies Perform joint injections, splinting, casting and basic wound care Participate in multidisciplinary care conferences and patient education First call from 7 a.m.–6 p.m. during hospital shift coverage Collaborative team focused on personalized, comprehensive patient care Compensation and Benefits: Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package Up to 24 days of paid time off Up to 3 personal holidays Up to 1 week of paid CME time off annually Up to $1,500 CME reimbursement per calendar year Licensure renewal fee reimbursement Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start Orthopedic, surgical or hospital experience preferred Strong clinical judgment, teamwork and communication skills Location and Lifestyle: Located in the Boston area, this opportunity offers convenient access to the restaurants, cultural attractions, professional sports, entertainment and other amenities of one of New England's largest metropolitan areas.
