seeking Locum Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider
Start date: as soon as credentialed
Ongoing coverage needed
All dates and times needed.
Shift times: 9a-9p or 3p-1a
No call
No rounding
Census: 80 pts/day
Daily admissions: 3.5%
FSED is not a trauma center, it is affiliated with a Level 2 Trauma Center
APP will receive EMR training as well as a shadow shift
Support staff: 24 hrs doc coverage and 2-4 nurses plus 1 imaging tech 24/7
Basic ER procedures. Laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, etc. .
Vent management is not required.
Must have 2 years extensive ED experience
