Job Description

Acute Care Hospital is seeking Locum Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to provide coverage
- M-F, 6a-2p (8hr GT), OT after 8 hours daily
- Call: 5% on weekdays, 75% weekends (ER Call primarily)
- Patient Population: Adults ONLY
- Office/Clinic = 10%, Hospital = 90%
- Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient/Acute Care
- Daily Caseload: 10 patient per day - 5 Admissions, 5 ICU, 4 Surgeries
- Support Staff: 4 physicians, 7 mid-levels
- EMR: Epic
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years
- Must be able to harvest vein and first assist surgeon on all open heart cases, suturing, and pre/post op surgical care
- Required: Active SC license, ACLS, flu vaccine
