CT Surgery Inpatient NP/PA Locums Job in Southeastern Virginia | Seeking 2 Weeks per Month in 2027 | 8 Hour Inpatient Days + Call - EVH Required
Jackson & Coker is partnered with a facility near the Virginia Beach coast that needs at CT Surgery specialized NP or PA to assist with 2 weeks per month of locums coverage starting in January 2027 & ongoing. The facility has a set rotation in place and specific dates they need to fill. Coverage will be covering the inpatient floor + assisting in the OR with EVH/1st assist.
Seeking coverage on Sunday at 7AM - Sunday at 7AM on the following dates:
--Sunday, 1/10 at 7AM - Sunday, 1/17 at 7AM
--Sunday, 1/24 at 7AM - Sunday, 1/31 at 7AM
--Sunday, 2/7 at 7AM - Sunday, 2/14 at 7AM
--Sunday, 2/21 at 7AM - Sunday, 2/28 at 7AM
--Sunday, 3/7 at 7AM - Sunday, 3/14 at 7AM
--Sunday, 3/21 at 7AM - Sunday, 3/28 at 7AM
--Sunday, 4/4 at 7AM - Sunday, 4/11 at 7AM
--Sunday, 4/18 at 7AM - Sunday, 4/25 at 7AM
--Sunday, 5/2 at 7AM - Sunday, 5/9 at 7AM
--Sunday, 5/16 at 7AM - Sunday, 5/23 at 7AM
- Seeking candidates with an active & unrestricted Virginia Medical License + DEA
- Must have experience and case logs reflecting your work in CT Surgery/EVH
- Will work alongside one surgeon on call at at time (2-3 Surgeons working at the facility total)
- Two to three other CT Surgery Advanced Clinicians
- Seeing mid-low volumes currently and anticipate 1-6 cases each Monday-Friday
- Duties: comprehensive care of complex CT Surgery pre- and post-operative surgical patients, post-op management, patient assessment, treatment planning, diagnostic ordering/interpreting, medication management, bedside procedures within scope, patient education and discharge, documentation
- Will be required to round in the ICU / see ED consults
- Epic EMR inpatient, Cerner outpatient, located in southeast Virginia, 295+ bed facility, not a designated trauma facility
