Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility located in the outskirts of Richmond, Virginia that urgently needs Trauma APP locums coverage for their Trauma ICU at the end of December and ongoing.

They're seeking a providers (NPs and/or PAs) that actively hold a Virginia medical license, have trauma ICU/Critical Care Surgery + Trauma surgery experience & that have a clean background that can credentialed expeditiously for coverage. Are you available?

Shift information: 
- Day shifts are 7A-7P,  Night shifts are 7P - 7A

Specific dates of coverage requested: 
- December 24 + 25 (night shifts)
- December 26 + 27 (day shifts)
+ Ongoing needs of 5-7 days per month 

Details/Requirements #117778:
--Must have an active & unrestricted Virginia medical license + DEA 
--ATLS is a firm required + ACLS
--Seeking providers (NPs/PAs) that can specifically cover night shift on Oct 30 + 31
--Ideal candidates can offer 5-7 shifts per month (does not have to be consecutive) on an ongoing basis
--Will perform a wide range of tasks along the entire continuum of care of trauma and acute care surgery patients, from admission to discharge + follow up clinic
--APPs practice under the supervision of the trauma or acute care surgeon
-- Shift times are: 7A - 7P and/or 7P - 7A shifts (12 hours inhouse) with NO call
--Must be willing and able to complete work within 12 hours (to include charting) and to limit OT
--Seeking candidates that are comfortable/experienced with placing tubes, central lines & intubating
--1st assist is strongly preferred 
--Candidates must be able to work independently and quickly on the EMR system
--Facility detail: 450+ beds, MediTech EMR, designated level 1 trauma center
--Emergency temp privileges available
