Salary: $300,000 - $345,443 annually

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
  • Diagnose and treat child and adolescent patients with mood, anxiety, eating, and co-occurring disorders
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
  • Provide psychotherapy and ongoing psychiatric care
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and determine appropriate levels of care
  • Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, families, and referring providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in utilization reviews and advocate for optimal patient outcomes
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical education

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
  • Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry preferred/required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Active Washington medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission and regulatory standards

Practice Details

  • Average caseload of approximately 18-24 patients per week
  • Patients typically seen multiple times weekly in Residential and PHP settings
  • Collaborative environment with strong clinical support
  • Opportunity to teach, mentor, and contribute to program development
  • Participation in the physician call rotation required
