Psychiatrist | Sacramento, CA

Salary: $315,000 - $354,799 annually

Join a multidisciplinary behavioral health team providing high-quality psychiatric care across residential and partial hospitalization settings. The Psychiatrist will diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions, prescribe and manage medications, provide psychotherapy, determine appropriate levels of care, and collaborate with patients, families, and treatment teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
• Treat mood, anxiety, eating, and co-occurring disorders using evidence-based practices.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, referring providers, and family members.
• Participate in utilization reviews and advocate for appropriate patient care.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and staff development.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (General and/or Child & Adolescent Psychiatry).
• Active California medical license (or eligible for licensure).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
