Psychiatrist Locums Job in Connecticut | Scheduled Clinical Hours | Beginning ASAP - Ongoing | Assignment #11607
Coverage Details
-- Asap – Ongoing
-- Full-time coverage needed (40 hours per week)
-- Initial 3-month contract with potential for extension
Shift Description
-- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
-- No weekend or call coverage
Preferred Experience
-- Experience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
-- Experience with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Assignment Details
-- Outpatient Treatment Unit
-- Serves as the clinical head of the interdisciplinary treatment team
-- Collaborates with program director, nursing staff, social workers, substance abuse counselor, rehabilitation therapists, psychologist, and primary care physician
-- Responsible for psychiatric evaluations, leading treatment team meetings, reviewing and signing treatment plans, writing physician orders, documenting progress notes, and completing discharge documentation
-- Works closely with the treatment team to address both psychiatric and medical conditions
