Our client is actively recruiting for an inpatient psychiatric nurse practitioner in Washing DC. This position is responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients. This includes performing psychiatric evaluations on patients, in collaboration with a supervising psychiatrist and a treatment team, prescribing medications, providing clinical assessments and diagnosis in accordance with DC law and Medical Staff By-Laws and other duties as assigned. This would be an employed position, paid malpractice, full benefits.

Requirements/Qualifications

Must be an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Nurse Practitioner with experience and expertise in applying evidence based guidelines to provide primary care for individuals with chronic conditions and complex co-morbidities. Must be certified in psychiatry.
