Job Description
Looking for an experienced psychiatrist for Jacksonville Florida able to work independently to provide initial new patient psychiatric evaluations as well as follow-up medication management and evaluation.
Looking for a well-organized individual with good time management abilities who is also able to deliver friendly patient-focused care.
Job Duties:
- Provide psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis for patients with behavioral or cognitive disorders, mental illness, substance abuse or other chronic health issues.
- Develop a treatment plan to include medication management as needed and/or recommendations for therapy
- Timely and accurate completion of notes and paperwork (such as disability paperwork, authorizations, or route slips)
- Provides patient-centered care with a strong focus on customer service
- Able to stay on schedule by completing patient appointments in a timely manner
Office hours and days candidate will work:
8:00 -5:00 Monday – Friday
The pay scale will be a first-year guaranteed minimum of $210,000 with volume-based bonus potential and likely pay closer to $230K.
