(Login for Information) is seeking a psychiatrist to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management in an outpatient private practice setting. This hybrid position requires 1–2 days per week in person at our Hackensack office and also includes telehealth.

This opportunity offers flexible appointment scheduling, administrative support, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team. We’re looking for a clinician who values evidence-based treatment, clear communication, and coordinated patient care.

About the opportunity

• $150 per billable hour for direct, documented patient care.
• Set appointment days and times in coordination with office availability and patient needs.
• Administrative assistance with prior authorizations, patient paperwork, and documentation requests, with your clinical review and approval as needed.
• Collaborate with psychotherapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans as clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and finalize clinical notes within 24 hours of each session.
• Respond to staff communications about patient care, medication questions, and refill requests within 24 hours, including outside scheduled appointment days.
• Collaborate with the patient’s care team to promote continuity of care.
• Uphold confidentiality, professional ethics, and applicable clinical and regulatory standards.
• Participate in peer review and quality improvement activities as required.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree and completion of an accredited psychiatry residency.
• Current, unrestricted New Jersey medical license.
• Board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry.
• Strong psychopharmacology, differential diagnosis, and treatment-planning skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Commitment to timely documentation and responsive patient care.
• Required availability for 1–2 days per week in person in Hackensack.
