Psychiatry Position - Syracuse, NY area
Job Description
Facility is seeking a BC/BE Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our team
- Monday–Friday, 7am–7pm; 4-day schedule with longer shifts available
- Panel of 175–225 outpatient patients; 14–20 patients per day depending on appointment type (90-minute initial evaluations; 15–30 minute follow-ups)
- Join 2 existing psychiatrists and PMHNPs across 3 outpatient locations serving adult and adolescent patients
- Medication management and psychiatric evaluations in collaboration with therapists; work with school-based clinic staff
- Call: 1:3 rotation; included in base salary covers 5 weekday call days (including overnight call Monday–Thursday via Telemed) and 1 weekend of call including inpatient rounding Saturday/Sunday mornings
- Call includes psychiatric consults for ED, ICU, and med/surg via Telemed; infrequent in-person restraints; additional call shifts compensated separately
- EMR: Meditech
- 3 year employment agreement
- Competitive salary range: $385,000–$400,000
- $100,000 sign-on bonus
- Relocation reimbursement up to $10,000 with receipts
