Job Description

  • Deep TMS and robust in-house therapy team
  • No call, no weekends, no evenings
  • 10-12 pts/ day

We are an integrated outpatient practice where Psychiatry and Psychotherapy are closely aligned. Our psychiatrists have access to an in-house network of more than 220 therapists, supporting coordinated care and continuity across disciplines. Our model also incorporates evidence-based interventional treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato®, used to improve outcomes for patients with complex and treatment-resistant conditions and to provide clinicians with additional tools to meaningfully enhance care.

 

We are clinician-centered and patient outcome–driven, and prioritize giving psychiatrists the time and flexibility needed to practice thoughtful psychiatry, including the ability to extend appointment times when clinically appropriate to support more meaningful evaluation and improved outcomes.

 

Position Highlights

  • Flexible Full Time or Part Time Employment

  • 60-minute psychiatric evaluations with flexible follow-up lengths
  • Collaborative in-house therapy network supporting coordinated patient care
  • Ability to work with adults and/or children & adolescents if fellowship trained
  • Optional involvement in clinical research through our Clinical Research Outcomes Center (CROC)
  • No nights, weekends, or call responsibilities

Your Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental health conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, which may include psychotherapy, medication management, lifestyle interventions, and, when appropriate, referral for interventional treatments such as TMS and esketamine
  • Support patients and families in understanding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care strategies
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and support clinical initiatives, including research in interventional psychiatry
  • Supervise Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, if desired
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in support of continuity of care and regulatory compliance

 

Qualifications

 

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active Texas medical license and DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Skilled in psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults and/or adolescents
  • Interest in expanding clinical skills in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), with training and certification provided
  • Excellent communicator with a collaborative, ethical, and solution-focused approach
  • Comfortable with EMR systems and videoconferencing tools
  • Passionate about professional growth and continuous learning
