A New Jersey state psychiatric hospital is seeking a licensed Psychologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage within an adult inpatient behavioral health program. The facility serves civil, forensic, and long-term psychiatric populations requiring complex psychological assessment and treatment services.
Responsibilities include psychological evaluations, forensic assessments, violence risk assessments, diagnostic testing, crisis intervention, treatment planning, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and multidisciplinary team participation. Providers may also participate in supervision and training activities involving psychology interns and trainees.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in forensic psychology, psychological testing, risk assessment methodologies, and evidence-based treatment approaches within institutional treatment settings. Familiarity with CBT, DBT, and structured treatment planning is preferred.
The schedule is Monday through Friday from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with no call responsibilities, no weekends, and no overtime requirements.
